Why are some boxers faster than others?

take for exemple mike tyson and rocky marciano tyson was 220lbs and was lightening quick and rocky marciano at 185 lbs was slow how can be slower if weights 35 lbs lighter? anyway the question im asking is how can marciano be so slow and mike tyson so quick while mike tyson was the much heavier man
